Panchali Dal recipe/ Mixed vegetable dal with a twist
Hi friends Happy choti diwali to all.
As promised I am back with another recipe for this diwali celebration. Panchali is another name of Panchal princess Draupadi. Draupadi was the wife of Pandavas. We find her in Mahabharata,an epic of India. She was such a great cook that even today if some lady cooks delicious food she is reffered as 'Randhane Draupadi' meaning she cooks just like draupadi..
So today I am sharing with you this mixed vegetable Tuvar/arhar dal recipe which is said to have been a staple in Panchali's kitchen. Yes we are celebrating returning Of lord Rama from his exile tomorrow with a recipe that is said to be adopted from mahabharata. :-D. Here is the pictorial of this dal recipe.
